Australasian Leisure Management gets a face lift
AMPSEA partner, Leisure Media Limited (LML) has this week unveiled a new look for Australasian Leisure Management magazine and its news-based website, with refreshed branding and an updated style across the magazine, website and digital communications.
Australasian Leisure Management (ALM) Publisher, Nigel Benton explained “this evolution reflects the publication’s commitment to remaining relevant and contemporary while continuing to serve as the leading voice for the sectors - aquatics, attractions, entertainment, events, fitness, parks, recreation, sport, tourism and venues - of the leisure industry in Australia and New Zealand we connect with.
“A key feature in this digital transformation is the removal of the website’s paywall. For the first time since the pandemic, all online content is freely accessible, broadening access to industry knowledge and insights. This significant change is intended to foster greater communication, learning and information sharing across the sector.
“The updated design replaces the magazine’s longstanding look, presenting a fresher and more accessible format that aims to deliver an engaging publication that aligns with the dynamic and innovative nature of the industry it represents.”
Alongside the redesign, the ALM website and newsletter (EDM) have also been revamped with new features that allow readers to contribute content more easily.
In addition, the introduction of a dedicated section for sponsored and partner posts provides new opportunities for collaboration and industry engagement that can support our standing industry partners to share their stories and promotions.
The new look website also gives more exposure to industry events and job listings.
Kristin Brookfield, Chief Executive of the Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA), the owner of LML, noted “it’s exciting to see the publication make this change. The new website will give us a solid foundation to promote the wealth of content available across the many sectors ALM reports on each week.
“ALM has over 20 years of high-quality content created and shared with industry. I hope the new branding will bring a new audience to visit the site, sign up for our newsletter and read the magazine.”
Benton went on to say “the contemporary look and branding reflects a commitment to deliver the latest news and trends in order to inform our readers about their industry and enhance their decision making.
“The new look and open-access approach represents the next step in this journey, ensuring we continue to inform, inspire and connect professionals across the industry.”
Uniquely placed as the leading business media for the leisure industry in Australia and New Zealand, Australasian Leisure Management provides trusted, independent coverage of the leisure industry while continually adapting to the needs of its readership.
The new branding - and its use in the latest issue of the printed Australasian Leisure Management - was on display last weekend at the AusFitness Industry exhibition in Sydney and the SWIMCON conference in Adelaide.
